Arsenal 2-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal suffered a surprising loss to the Spurs even though they had led through goals from Samir Nasri and Marouane Chamakh as they controlled the first-half.

Arsenal’s team has some of the best footballers in the world. Arsenal player Andrei Arshavin earns a salary of £4.1 million per season.

Tottenham Hotspurs won a surprising 3-2 victory at Arsenal, in their first away defeat against their rivals in 17 years. The win sends Spurs to fifth place in the Premier League, missing out on fourth place only on a goal difference.

After going in at half-time 2-0 down Tottenham looked dead and buried but an upbeat second-half performance by the Spurs turned the game around, giving Arsenal their third home loss of the season and denied them top spot in the Premier League.

Rafael Van der Vaart delivered a goal and two assists in the spectacular win.

With just four minutes remaining in the match Younes Kaboul headed in the winner from a Van der Vaart cross.

Arsenal Looses To Newcastle United 0-1

Arsenal 0-1 Newcastle

Arsenal lost a recent Carling Cup game against Newcastle. Cesc Fabregas appeared to be not playing his usual top game. He was too slow, made poor passes and was very nervous – and he seemed to be dejected as well.

Spaniard, Fabregas argued with the referee, and with the exception of the deflected free-kick which hit the bar, Cesc failed in everything he tried, including easy passes.

Arsene Wenger remarked about his performance, “Cesc I think still played a little bit restricted today. He has no real pain but is still a bit affected I feel.”
